Larry Jenning's classic effect is one of the most powerful things you can do with a deck of cards. Damian teaches every aspect of this classic with previously unreleased moves and tips that were learned from Larry himself along with Damian's own touches.

Two piles of face down cards are seen on the table, one pile is freely chosen by the spectator, (absolutely no force) & these cards are mixed up. The cards from both piles are turned over one at a time, & the faces of each pile are seen to be well mixed.

The Spectator firstly selects which pile to work with (NO FORCE!) & the other pile of cards are turned face down. The spectator freely selects a number (again NO FORCE!) & the card at that number is withdrawn from the pile of cards, it is clearly seen that any other number selected would have produced an entirely different card.......... HOWEVER when you count down to the SAME NUMBER CARD in the other pile of cards, it is seen that BOTH CARDS MATCH EACH OTHER! Then the big SURPRISE FINISH, as each of the remaining two piles of cards are turned over, it is seen that all the cards have mysteriosly sorted themselves out, & as each card is turned over from the top of each pile, it is seen that dspite the cards all being mixed at the start, they have miraculously paired up with each other,thus the name "Tarot In HARMONY"

TWO tricks for the price of one PLUS a FREE pack of Bicycle cards!

Trick One:

A pack of cards are shown & seen to be mixed. The spectator cuts off a quantity of cards. Not knowing exactly the amount, the magician "weighs" the spectators squared up packet in his hands & tries to guess how many cards there are. The magician then allows himself a quantity of cards from the remaining deck, & also allows the spectator to add some more cards to his pile.

The magician then explains that the pack is a full pack PLUS one extra duplicate card, & that both him & the spectator are going to play "Blind Snap" with the cards FACE DOWN to try & find the duplicated card.

The magician deals a card, next to this the spectator deals a card from his packet into a separate pile, then the magician deals another card onto his pile & the spectator deals onto theirs, this continues, & then suddenly just after the spectator deals, the next card the magician deals is seen to have the word "SNAP" printed on the back of his dealt card. The last card the spectator layed is turned over & seen to be a Ten Of Spades (or whatever) & when the magicians "Snap card" is turned over, it also is seen to be the Ten Of spades!!! everything is fully examinable at the end.

Trick two:

we are keeping as a surprise! although a close up trick this could also be done on stage with Jumbo Cards!!

A blue backed pack of cards are shuffled & seen to be mixed up. "I can cut to any card I wish" says the magician, & sure enough he names his card & immediately cuts to it!! It's shown to be the only card, there are no duplicates.The pack is freely shown.

A lighter is passed over the face of the cut to card "To soften the ink!" & that card is rubbed onto the back of the card underneath. When the pack is turned over, it is seen that the blue backed card has now changed to red! (to match the ink on the face card!) Suddenly more & more cards the same as the one cut to appears, & then all the backs change colour as well! then they revert back again, & all the duplicate cards are gone! & the pack is back to normal (at least that's what it looks like!!

There are so many effects where a chosen card ends up being the only card in a deck, & the rest are shown to be all blank, so why do we need another?

Well the reason is, that this one, beats all the others hands down!!

No forcing! No Switches! Just One Deck!

Basic Effect:

Magician removes a pack of cards from the box, & places them face down on the table, a spectator is asked to name any card out of 52 (FREE CHOICE, ABSOLUTELY NO FORCE AT ALL)they can change their mind as often as they wish. You pick up the deck, explaining that the cards are secretly "Marked" on the backs, so because of that, you can locate any card. Magician spreads the cards, & explains that "Your card is under that one" as you point to one card, you then cut the deck at that point, bringing the cut to card to the top of the face down deck, you then lift the top face down card from the the deck, & one card below it is seen to be FACE UP, it is the FREELY selected card, all the other cards are seen to be FACE DOWN!! The magician states "I'm so pleased you selected that particular card, because if you hadn't,I'm not sure what I would have done...................... The cards are turned over, & all the faces are seen to be BLANK!!! The only card in the deck is the spectator's FREELY chosen card!!

Only one deck of cards is used, these are on the table BEFORE the selection, there are 52 cards to the pack (no more & no less) resets with a couple of cuts. No sticky cards are used. Total FREE CHOICE of card. EASY TO DO!!

EFFECT 1:
The four Aces are removed from the pack, & laid on the table. The pack is shuffled, the Aces are replaced at random throughout the deck, which is casually cut & shuffled. Four cards are removed from the deck face down, & each card is an Ace!!

Effect 2:
Spectator cuts a deck of cards behind his back, returning the top half of the deck to the performer, & places the next card into his own pocket SIGHT UNSEEN.
Then the spectator looks through the faces of the entire deck. Performer invites him to hazard a guess at the missing card. He cannot. The performer then names the missing card, spectator removes the card from his pocket. The revelation is 100% correct! NOW COMES THE KICKER......

A spectator is asked to think of any card, The pages of a small 6 x 4 inch book are flicked through. The story unfolds, as the pages pass. A small cartoon boy reaches into his pocket and removes one bicycle playing card. The magician states that this is the card the spectator is thinking of. To prove this, the spectator is asked to reach inside the magicians jacket pocket. There is one card and one card only in the pocket. When removed it is the spectators thought of card.

Five cards are removed from a small leather wallet. It is seen that four of the cards have red faces & one card has a black face. The black card mysteriosly vanishes & when the cards are counted again there are now only FOUR! the black card mysteriosly reappears back in the wallet!! (or anywhere else you'd like it to appear!).

The five cards at the start could come from the top of a regular pack, instead of the wallet. You could show that the wallet at the start contains a face down BLANK face card. The odd card vanishes, & when you go back to the wallet, it is seen that the blank faced card has now CHANGED into the vanished card!!!

A Visible Painting with Cards!

A card, Queen of diamonds, is chosen and not shown.

An 8 ½ by 12 inch picture of a Ace of diamonds (prediction) is shown front and back.
The selected card and ace do not match. The ace is slid into a 10 by 12 1/2 inch frame.

When the ace is removed it
visually and slowly changes into the Queen of diamonds!

A card is chosen by a spectator, & is seen to be face down in the middle of a face down pack (say The Ten Of Spades). "I'm going to make your card turn FACE UP" says the magician, as he proceeds to spread the cards. When the cards are spread however, it is seen that one card is FACE UP, BUT it's the wrong card!! (say the Jack Of Hearts) the magician removes this card & places it inside the empty card box. "O.K. so what was your card" asks the magician? The spectator says "The Ten Of Spades" the magician then runs through the pack & locates The Ten Of Spades removes it, & puts it face down on the OUTSIDE of the card box, securing it with an elastic band. The spectator is then asked to hold the box, between his finger & thumb, as you pull the box away, this action will allow the Ten Of Spades (under the elastic band) to slide from under the band & to end up between the spectators thumb & finger, it will be seen to have changed to the Jack Of Hearts (The card that was placed INSIDE the card box at the beginning!!) when the box is opened, it is seen to contain one card, which just happens to be the Spectator's chosen card The Ten Of Spades! The Ten Of Spades then also changes to The Jack Of Hearts! & when the remainder of the pack are spread FACE UP, they are all seen to be Jacks Of Hearts, EVERY SINGLE CARD!!! Everything can now be examined!!

Two Jokers & an "odd" card are shown. The odd card is seen to be completely blank. Now the trick is for the spectator to follow the odd card, it is made even more "odd" by the magician signing his name right across the face of it.

The spectator then signs their name right across the back of one of the jokers, & places their hand firmly on top, so the performer can't get to it! The magician's signed blank card is turned face down next to the other face up joker. However, when the magician's blank signed card is turned face up, it is seen to have changed into a joker with NO signature on it whatsoever!! (Intercessor - someone who acts as an intermediate agent in a transaction or helps resolve differences)

For more years than magicians can remember, one of the most powerful principles used in card magic has been the "torn corner principle." A card is selected, one corner is torn off and kept by the spectator, then the rest of the card is destroyed.

The card is later found in any type of impossible location, inside a cigarette or lemon, for example. (Robert-Houdin used to have the card appear locked inside of a small safe buried under a tree.) Of course, not only is the card found restored, but the torn off corner matches exactly, proving it was the selected card. All of these mind boggling miracles work on the same principle, that of the corner switch. The torn corner of the forced selected card being switched for a corner of the duplicate card, already set-up in the final location.

From now on, thanks the Gaeton's incredible Intercessor gimmick you will be able to achieve all of these effects, without switching the corner at any time! More than that, once the card has been selected the spectator may sign a corner of the card which is then ripped off and handed to the spectator. The spectator may immediately verify that his torn corner matches the card, which only then will be destroyed and found restored in an impossible location. Gaeton's gimmick eliminates the need for any false moves and allows you to immediately repeat the effect if desired!

The magician has a card selected and signed. He then places the signed card into the center of the deck. He picks up two blank playing cards of a different color to the color of the deck, and places one blank on top and the other on the bottom of the deck.

He gives the deck a quick jerk allowing all of the playing cards in the deck to jump out from between the two blanks and into his other hand. When the spectator looks through the deck he cannot find his signed selection. It has become TRAPPED between the two blank cards!

The magician then gives the spectator his signed card.

Two piles of cards each containing the four fours are counted face down.

One set of fours are red backed & the other set is blue. The Spectator is told to merely THINK of any one of the fours, & to hold this choice in their head, they are then instructed to think of another four but of the opposite colour. "I'm going to make the chosen cards jump piles" says the magician, with a gesture. & sure enough when the cards are spread, one card in each pile is now FACE UP, with the opposite colour back to the pile that they are now in!!!!

The magician displays two plastic disks, one of which is semi-transparent. He places the disks on the table after showing them on both sides.

A card is then selected by the spectator. The performer picks up the two disks and rests them on his hand, the transparent disk covering the solid disk. He asks the spectator to watch the disks carefully as he concentrates on the selected card.

As the spectator stares at the disks in the magician's palm, the magician revolves his hand. Slowly an image appears on the disc, it's a picture of the selected card! it slowly fades into view, getting brighter and stronger until it is obvious that it is now printed on the center surface of the solid disk!

Everything can be examined at the end!!

The performer displays the Fortuneteller's Book of Days containing 366 short paragraphs, one written for each day of the year, which profiles an individual born on that day. By John Scarne. This wonderful book was written in the mid 1930s when prohibition and illegal gambling affected the big cities. The Three Card Monte was played on the streets and some of the wealthiest people of the day were taken in by the technique of the card sharps. John Scarne teaches it ALL in this book.

A Deck of Cards are taken out of the case (by the spectator) and held faced up. Cards are cut down until a selected card is chosen and all the cards are placed back into the case. The box is shut closed. The magician mentally focuses on the card in the box and makes it disappear from the deck! The deck is then removed from the box and spread all over to reveal that the card has indeed disappeared. Amazing! But that's not all, a sealed envelope which was given to the spectator BEFORE the card was selected is instructed to open it. Inside is the chosen card! The card can appear from almost anywhere - sealed envelope, lemon, your wallet. It's only limited by your imagination. Everyone will believe you possess great skills after your performance.

I fooled myself completely with this effect, it's easy to do & very sneaky!! Highly recommended.....

If you add a switch wallet to the routine, it can be enhanced. A previously shown blank card can change to the selected card! OR (better still!) you show a card in the wallet as your prediction card at the start (say the six of diamonds) the spectator chooses their card, but the prediction is wrong! The chosen card vanishes from the pack, when the prediction card is removed it has changed to the selected card, OR two cards are now to be seen, UNDER the incorrect prediction card is the spectator's selected card!! as if it had flown there from the box! Spectator's only saw ONE card at the start.



All sorts of things can be done for the revelation.Card can end up ANYWHERE (bag of crisps etc etc)

THE ORIGINAL PRESENTATION AND METHOD!

THE EFFECT:

The performer shows a few old fashioned antique type playing cards and explains that there are seven cards, one picture card and six black spot cards.

The ‘Guessing Game is to try and find the picture card as the performer mixes the cards face down. He divides the seven card packet into two smaller packets, one of three cards and one of four cards and invites the spectator to guess where the picture card is. The spectator guesses but is wrong.

The performer says that this is a game where the spectator cannot lose and proceeds to change all the spot cards into picture cards.
At the end of the effect all the cards can be shown back and front!

These cards are slightly smaller in length, than the ones from America, & are therefore easier to handle, especially for the Hamman Count!

Effect:
Four earth cards are shown. One at a time, alien cards appear and earth cards vanish! Aliens’ are taking over the world! Next, the alien cards change into ‘Green Alien Immigration cards’ so they can enter earth. For the final climax all the cards change into frightening images of the Roswell Alien Autopsy’ incident. This is definitely a unique trick for the modern age! Comes complete with bright laminated cards & full instructions.

Conjunction is a remarkable effect with a very simple description. You take one of your business cards, give it a series of folds and tears, and in the process transform it into an impossible object: two unbroken cardboard rings that end up linked through one another.

So, you may ask, what sets Conjunction apart from the multitude of other effects that have bits of card linking together? Simple: You do it for real. The rings are given away in their genuinely linked state, from which they can't be unlinked without ripping them. They can be examined indefinitely with no danger of anyone finding any seams, joins or tears, because there aren't any. Furthermore, no glue, tape, or adhesive of any kind is used. Only one card is involved, with no gaffs, gimmicks or extra pieces, and nothing to ring in, ditch or switch. And naturally, if you've set it up correctly, the rings will still have your name and contact information on them, intact, at the end.

Even among those who know a thing or two about linking card effects, common sense dictates that what I've just described -- taking nothing but a single, ungimmicked card and genuinely turning it into two solid linked rings -- is utterly impossible. In fact I've received a number of incredulous emails insisting that there must be something left out of my description, because under the conditions I've listed, it simply can't be done. All I can say is, the more impossible it seems to you, the more you will love Conjunction.

Effect:
A spectator cuts an invisible deck of cards. He tells you how many cards he cut off the deck. You remove a business card and a playing card from your wallet. The spectator takes the business card and turns it over. Printed on the back is all 52 cards of the deck. In a random order. With NO repeats! He sees what card is at the cut number. (You don't know-really!) HE turns over the playing card. It is the same card...

RESET? You put both back in your wallet (ungimmicked wallet). Next table? Different number, different card! NO Sleights! NO Gimmicked cards!

Plus, it takes up almost NO space and gets a FANTASTIC reaction!

The performer places a plastic wallet which contains a prediction on the table. Then a spectator chooses a card from the deck. The magician places it on top of the deck without showing its face. He opens the wallet to show the prediction card. A name of a card is cut out. The selected card is turned face up, but the prediction does not match. When the performer flips the prediction card, the cut out changes to the correct name!

Performer shows one side of two cards. Next, he shows the other side of them. Spectators realize one card is regular and the other card is blank on both sides. Magician casts a spell on the cards. As the blank card is rotated, the back design of the regular card visibly vanishes. Now both cards are blank on one side. The rear side of the cards is shown revealing the back design was magically printed on the blank card. Magician casts a spell on the cards again. As the top card is slid over the other one, the back design visibly appears on the back of the regular card. Both cards have returned to their original state. They can be handed out for examination!

The performer introduces a deck of cards. It is spread face up on the table to show there is nothing funny about it. The cards are squared and turned face down. Two of the spectators take part in this trick. Each of them takes a card and remembers its rank and suit. The performer chooses a card, too. He signs his name on a sticker and places it on the face of his card. The two volunteers do the same thing. Their selected cards are replaced into the deck and the deck is inserted halfway into its case. The magician pushes the deck all the way and takes a pause. Then he tilts the case to slide out the deck. The magician's selection has appeared on the face of the deck. He puts it aside. Without any suspicious move, the deck is inserted again into the case. He tilts the case and the deck slides out with one of the spectators' cards on the face! Of course, it has a spectator's signature. The performer repeats the above procedure to reveal the second spectator's card. The deck is spread to prove it is regular!

Magician showcases three cards. Turns the cards over face down and places the center card on the table. The magician then flips and showcases the cards in hand one at a time and finally flips the table card over...and It's BLANK. Where has the face of the card gone? A smaller miniature version of the card is shown between the two cards previously in the magician's hand.

The magician relates a story about how his Grandfather, a retired riverboat gambler, would always beat him at cards. He goes on to explain that he finally found out the old man was able to win by using a unique marking system for the cards. Removing a red deck, the magician shows that his Grandfather actually marked the cards on the front instead of the back. Peering down at the face card of the deck the magician pretends to be looking at the mark and then confidently announces the card. Shuffling the deck and looking at another face, he announces another card. Naturally, the spectators are unimpressed. They too can easily see which card is which. The magician suggests that one of them try to name a card and is amazed to find the spectator is right on her first try.

At this point, sensing the spectators are unimpressed, the magician explains that he has made what he considers to be an improvement to the system by adding a few extra marks to certain cards, and that these marks can only be sensed by certain "gifted" people. Believing the spectator who correctly named the card to have this instinct, he hands them the deck with the request that they look through the deck and just remember any card they see. Taking back the deck, the spectator names their thought-of card and the magician retrieves it from the deck. Turning the card over it is seen to have a bold black mark depicting the number and suit of the card!

Explaining that since some people have trouble seeing the mark he has taken this one card from another deck and the rest of the cards are turned over, revealing all blue backs!
