So what's different with this version? well firstly all the stones are now coloured except for one black stone. Imagine for a moment that you have 1 to 5 people in front of you; you tell them you want to conduct an experiment into the subconscious and you conduct several tests to prove your powers.

This is all done under test conditions, and the results are awesome!

To begin with a bag is shown and the contents tipped out onto the table for everyone to examine. 4 different coloured stones are shown and one black. They are placed into the bag and shaken to mix them up.
You then instruct the spectator to take one stone and keep their hand closed so no one sees the stone! This is repeated with the other spectators until the bag is empty and placed to one side.
You then divine who does not have the black stone without looking, peeking or asking any questions! All it takes is a glance into their minds eye and you correctly eliminate the coloured stones. In fact the spectators do not have any idea which stone they hold, as they have not seen the colour themselves! You do this till you are left with two spectators, you then go on to correctly divine the location of the black stone and of course who holds the coloured stone.
Or of course vice versa, this alone is a jaw dropping moment! But wait there is more!

The spectator with the black stone is invited to conduct another experiment. You have them place the black stone and a coloured stone into the bag and shake the stones about to mix them (YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE BAG AT ALL DURING THIS PROCESS). They are then asked to take a stone in each hand but not to look at them just place their hands outstretched and of course keep them closed! You then take the spectators hands in yours and again after a little talk of the sub conscious being an extremely powerful entity you correctly divine the hand, which holds the black and the coloured stone. This can be instantly repeated with a second person with no reset at all!

Don’t have 5 people to perform to? It’s not a problem at all you can perform this trick for 1 or 100 people. The routine is simply designed to play for 1 - 5 or even more people, plus you can jazz the routine and take a bit from here and from there! It is a sure fire winner... TWO tricks for the price of one PLUS a FREE pack of Bicycle cards!

Trick One:

A pack of cards are shown & seen to be mixed. The spectator cuts off a quantity of cards. Not knowing exactly the amount, the magician "weighs" the spectators squared up packet in his hands & tries to guess how many cards there are. The magician then allows himself a quantity of cards from the remaining deck, & also allows the spectator to add some more cards to his pile.

The magician then explains that the pack is a full pack PLUS one extra duplicate card, & that both him & the spectator are going to play "Blind Snap" with the cards FACE DOWN to try & find the duplicated card.

The magician deals a card, next to this the spectator deals a card from his packet into a separate pile, then the magician deals another card onto his pile & the spectator deals onto theirs, this continues, & then suddenly just after the spectator deals, the next card the magician deals is seen to have the word "SNAP" printed on the back of his dealt card. The last card the spectator layed is turned over & seen to be a Ten Of Spades (or whatever) & when the magicians "Snap card" is turned over, it also is seen to be the Ten Of spades!!! everything is fully examinable at the end.

Trick two:

we are keeping as a surprise! although a close up trick this could also be done on stage with Jumbo Cards!!

Six stainless steel cups, which are numbered (by dice) from one to six, are shown on a beautiful Oak hand stained platform. In each cup, an amount of cash is placed. This can be a $100 bill, and five smaller bills or coins.

Five spectators are picked from the audience. One by one they are asked to roll a die. They are told that whatever number they roll, they will get what is under that cup. For example: If a two is thrown on the die, the number two cup is lifted up and they get that prize. It is further explained that you will get the last cup.

The magician show the audience a Chinese coin, both sides of which are seen to be black.
He rubs it a little, and both sides of the coin then magically turn red! Another rub, and both sides of the coin change to blue! The coin can be then be examined!

Only ONE coin is used!

Easy To Do!

Five cards are removed from a small leather wallet. It is seen that four of the cards have red faces & one card has a black face. The cards are counted & turned face down one at a time, there are definitely five cards. The black card mysteriosly vanishes & when the cards are counted again there are now only FOUR! the black card mysteriosly reappears back in the wallet!! (or anywhere else you'd like it to appear!).

The five cards at the start could come from the top of a regular pack, instead of the wallet. You could show that the wallet at the start contains a face down BLANK face card. To prove this, the spectator is asked to reach inside the magicians jacket pocket. There is one card and one card only in the pocket. When removed it is the spectators thought of card.

A blue backed pack of cards are shuffled & seen to be mixed up. "I can cut to any card I wish" says the magician, & sure enough he names his card & immediately cuts to it!! It's shown to be the only card, there are no duplicates.The pack is freely shown.

A lighter is passed over the face of the cut to card "To soften the ink!" & that card is rubbed onto the back of the card underneath. When the pack is turned over, it is seen that the blue backed card has now changed to red! (to match the ink on the face card!) Suddenly more & more cards the same as the one cut to appears, & then all the backs change colour as well! then they revert back again, & all the duplicate cards are gone! & the pack is back to normal (at least that's what it looks like!!

The building block miracle is a true magical puzzle!

For the puzzle part -The performer starts by showing that the puzzle fits into a frame as a rectangle. The performer rearranges the blocks and the blocks still fit into the frame.

I perform this slightly differently, revealing the different colour backs FIRST, & then revealing the faces. However performed, this is a GREAT TRICK!!!

A card is chosen by a spectator, & is seen to be face down in the middle of a face down pack (say The Ten Of Spades). "I'm going to make your card turn FACE UP" says the magician, as he proceeds to spread the cards. When the cards are spread however, it is seen that one card is FACE UP, BUT it's the wrong card!! (say the Jack Of Hearts) the magician removes this card & places it inside the empty card box. "O.K. so what was your card" asks the magician? The spectator says "The Ten Of Spades" the magician then runs through the pack & locates The Ten Of Spades removes it, & puts it face down on the OUTSIDE of the card box, securing it with an elastic band. The spectator is then asked to hold the box, between his finger & thumb, as you pull the box away, this action will allow the Ten Of Spades (under the elastic band) to slide from under the band & to end up between the spectators thumb & finger, it will be seen to have changed to the Jack Of Hearts (The card that was placed INSIDE the card box at the beginning!!) when the box is opened, it is seen to contain one card, which just happens to be the Spectator's chosen card The Ten Of Spades! The Ten Of Spades then also changes to The Jack Of Hearts! & when the remainder of the pack are spread FACE UP, they are all seen to be Jacks Of Hearts, EVERY SINGLE CARD!!! Everything can now be examined!!

This is an absolutely wonderful DVD & brings back many happy memories of my teenage years, when I used to Visit "Ken Brooke's Magic Place in London", Happy Days!!!

(Intercessor - someone who acts as an intermediate agent in a transaction or helps resolve differences)

For more years than magicians can remember, one of the most powerful principles used in card magic has been the "torn corner principle." A card is selected, one corner is torn off and kept by the spectator, then the rest of the card is destroyed.

The card is later found in any type of impossible location, inside a cigarette or lemon, for example. (Robert-Houdin used to have the card appear locked inside of a small safe buried under a tree.) Of course, not only is the card found restored, but the torn off corner matches exactly, proving it was the selected card. All of these mind boggling miracles work on the same principle, that of the corner switch. The torn corner of the forced selected card being switched for a corner of the duplicate card, already set-up in the final location.

From now on, thanks the Gaeton's incredible Intercessor gimmick you will be able to achieve all of these effects, without switching the corner at any time! More than that, once the card has been selected the spectator may sign a corner of the card which is then ripped off and handed to the spectator. The spectator may immediately verify that his torn corner matches the card, which only then will be destroyed and found restored in an impossible location. Gaeton's gimmick eliminates the need for any false moves and allows you to immediately repeat the effect if desired!

Two Jokers & an "odd" card are shown. The odd card is seen to be completely blank. Now the trick is for the spectator to follow the odd card, it is made even more "odd" by the magician signing his name right across the face of it.

The magician's signed blank card is turned face down next to the other face up joker. You borrow a bill and slide it into the paper frame. Then taking a needle with a ribbon tied to the end, you pierce through the center of the bill and frame. You show both sides of the frame openly and they can see the ribbon passing through the bill. Pulling the ribbon completely out the other side, you take the bill out of the frame and show it.
