So what's different with this version? well firstly all the stones are now coloured except for one black stone. The black stone no longer stands out amongst the others, all stones are highly polished natural stones, all similar sizes. The natural stones are specially selected to "Mix In" & be compatable with the very special stone. If any stone stands out, it WON'T be the one you think it should be!!
Also the beautiful velvet bag is 5" across the top opening, which means that the spectator can get their hand in the bag with no problem at all to reach in & get the stones out!!

Imagine for a moment that you have 1 to 5 people in front of you; you tell them you want to conduct an experiment into the subconscious and you conduct several tests to prove your powers.

This is all done under test conditions, and the results are awesome!

To begin with a bag is shown and the contents tipped out onto the table for everyone to examine. 4 different coloured stones are shown and one black. They are placed into the bag and shaken to mix them up.
You then instruct the spectator to take one stone and keep their hand closed so no one sees the stone! This is repeated with the other spectators until the bag is empty and placed to one side.
You then divine who does not have the black stone without looking, peeking or asking any questions! All it takes is a glance into their minds eye and you correctly eliminate the coloured stones. In fact the spectators do not have any idea which stone they hold, as they have not seen the colour themselves! You do this till you are left with two spectators, you then go on to correctly divine the location of the black stone and of course who holds the coloured stone.
Or of course vice versa, this alone is a jaw dropping moment! But wait there is more!

The spectator with the black stone is invited to conduct another experiment. You have them place the black stone and a coloured stone into the bag and shake the stones about to mix them (YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE BAG AT ALL DURING THIS PROCESS). They are then asked to take a stone in each hand but not to look at them just place their hands outstretched and of course keep them closed! You then take the spectators hands in yours and again after a little talk of the sub conscious being an extremely powerful entity you correctly divine the hand, which holds the black and the coloured stone. This can be instantly repeated with a second person with no reset at all!

Don’t have 5 people to perform to? It’s not a problem at all you can perform this trick for 1 or 100 people. The routine is simply designed to play for 1 - 5 or even more people, plus you can jazz the routine and take a bit from here and from there! It is a sure fire winner... Remember no stooges, no one ahead.

A blue backed pack of cards are shuffled & seen to be mixed up. "I can cut to any card I wish" says the magician, & sure enough he names his card & immediately cuts to it!! It's shown to be the only card, there are no duplicates.The pack is freely shown.

A lighter is passed over the face of the cut to card "To soften the ink!" & that card is rubbed onto the back of the card underneath. When the pack is turned over, it is seen that the blue backed card has now changed to red! (to match the ink on the face card!) Suddenly more & more cards the same as the one cut to appears, & then all the backs change colour as well! then they revert back again, & all the duplicate cards are gone! & the pack is back to normal (at least that's what it looks like!!

Well the reason is, that this one, beats all the others hands down!!

Basic Effect:

Magician removes a pack of cards from the box, & places them face down on the table, a spectator is asked to name any card out of 52 (FREE CHOICE, ABSOLUTELY NO FORCE AT ALL)they can change their mind as often as they wish. You pick up the deck, explaining that the cards are secretly "Marked" on the backs, so because of that, you can locate any card. Magician spreads the cards, & explains that "Your card is under that one" as you point to one card, you then cut the deck at that point, bringing the cut to card to the top of the face down deck, you then lift the top face down card from the the deck, & one card below it is seen to be FACE UP, it is the FREELY selected card, all the other cards are seen to be FACE DOWN!! The magician states "I'm so pleased you selected that particular card, because if you hadn't,I'm not sure what I would have done...................... The cards are turned over, & all the faces are seen to be BLANK!!! The only card in the deck is the spectator's FREELY chosen card!!

Only one deck of cards is used, these are on the table BEFORE the selection, there are 52 cards to the pack (no more & no less) resets with a couple of cuts. No sticky cards are used. Total FREE CHOICE of card. EASY TO DO!!

Introducing the STRANGEST three card trick EVER!

Two Jokers & an "odd" card are shown. The odd card is seen to be completely blank. Now the trick is for the spectator to follow the odd card, it is made even more "odd" by the magician signing his name right across the face of it.

The spectator then signs their name right across the back of one of the jokers, & places their hand firmly on top, so the performer can't get to it! The magician's signed blank card is turned face down next to the other face up joker. However, when the magician's blank signed card is turned face up, it is seen to have changed into a joker with NO signature on it whatsoever!! When the spectator takes their hand off their signed joker & turns it face up, it is seen to be the magician's BLANK card COMPLETE with the magician's signature, with the spectator's signature STILL ON THE BACK!! The cards have changed places!!

The black card mysteriosly vanishes & when the cards are counted again there are now only FOUR! the black card mysteriosly reappears back in the wallet!! (or anywhere else you'd like it to appear!).

The five cards at the start could come from the top of a regular pack, instead of the wallet. You could show that the wallet at the start contains a face down BLANK face card. The odd card vanishes, & when you go back to the wallet, it is seen that the blank faced card has now CHANGED into the vanished card!!!

Finally tugging on the rope really hard, out pop a pair of very GAUDY boxer shorts stitched onto the very end!

Magical & Funny, remember the audience sees at least three clear ends before the shorts appear, & yet at the end they only see one very long length of rope with only TWO ends, & one of those ends contain a pair of boxers!!!

A card is chosen by a spectator, & is seen to be face down in the middle of a face down pack (say The Ten Of Spades). "I'm going to make your card turn FACE UP" says the magician, as he proceeds to spread the cards. When the cards are spread however, it is seen that one card is FACE UP, BUT it's the wrong card!! (say the Jack Of Hearts) the magician removes this card & places it inside the empty card box. "O.K. so what was your card" asks the magician? The spectator says "The Ten Of Spades" the magician then runs through the pack & locates The Ten Of Spades removes it, & puts it face down on the OUTSIDE of the card box, securing it with an elastic band. The spectator is then asked to hold the box, between his finger & thumb, as you pull the box away, this action will allow the Ten Of Spades (under the elastic band) to slide from under the band & to end up between the spectators thumb & finger, it will be seen to have changed to the Jack Of Hearts (The card that was placed INSIDE the card box at the beginning!!) when the box is opened, it is seen to contain one card, which just happens to be the Spectator's chosen card The Ten Of Spades! The Ten Of Spades then also changes to The Jack Of Hearts! & when the remainder of the pack are spread FACE UP, they are all seen to be Jacks Of Hearts, EVERY SINGLE CARD!!! Everything can now be examined!!

A 480 page ordinary unprepared dictionary, is seen to contain over 30,000 words, & is in fact just as it appears to be, on ordinary dictionary. A page number is chosen in a very fair manner by the spectator, who turns to that page, & concentrates on ONE of the words at the top of the chosen page. The mentalist is apparently able to read the spectators thoughts & letter by letter reveal the actual word!!

Important points:

The word can be different everytime - the mentalist does NOT need to know the page number (unlike many other methods!) - It's very easy to do, & needs no memory work!

A card is shown face down in a vinyl wallet, & placed to one side. The spectator is shown a quantity of other symbol cards that have been cut in half. The half cards are mixed up face down, as directed by the spectator. The idea is that the spectator should try to pair up the half cut cards so that they match, with the cards FACE DOWN. If the spectator is psychic he should match the cards no problem! but do they? ... No they don't!! in fact they get them all wrong!!!!

"No problem" says the magician as he passes over a "Magic Crystal" to the spectator, "If you believe in the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL, the crystal will guide you", & SO IT DOES! the spectator successfully matches all the cards!! The crystal is taken back by the magician, removing the "Power" from the spectator. The cards are again mixed face down, without looking at the faces, the magician pushes one half card forward (without looking at the face!) & the spectator also pushes a card forward without looking at the face (FREE CHOICE!), WILL THE two half cards MATCH? The magician explains that because he now has the crystal, he will get it right, but the spectator will get it wrong. The spectator believes that if the magician gets it right, then they also will get it right, WRONG! the magician will get it right because HE has the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL! the two half cards are turned face up THEY DO NOT MATCH, so how everyone will think did the magician get it right? "Because at the beginning of the experiment" explains the magician, "I placed a single full sized card in a vinyl wallet to one side, this card MATCHES the final outcome, because I had the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL! when the card that has been on the table RIGHT FROM THE START OF THE TRICK! is turned face up, it is seen to be HALF of the spectators FREELY CHOSEN card & half of the magicians! a sort of "Hybrid" card. The story in this version concerns four "Jack The Lads" on the beach, represented by four face down Jacks in the vinyl wallet. To a very entertaining story your female spectator selects one of the Jacks (say the Jack Of Spades)When the cards are removed from the vinyl wallet & spread, this very card is revealed to be the ONLY face up card amongst them! "I wonder why you chose that one?" the magician states. The magician then continues: "I think it's because you like a sensible man!" you then turn the card over revealing the blue back (the others are red!) & you continue "he was far more sensible than the others, because the others had red backs, having got too much sun laying on the beach! your chosen Jack was far more sensible, in fact he stayed out of the sun & has a blue back (must be a bit cold!)" The magician then says: "It's really strange why you chose the Jack Of Spades though, because you could have had any one of the others" You then turn all the other cards over & reveal that they are all Hunky Men In swimming Trunks! as you continue:

"& these were the other guys on the beach!!"

Two decks of Bicycle cards (supplied) one being a red backed deck, & the other being a blue.
The red backed deck is taken out of it's case, & is spread face up on the table to show 52 different cards. The blue deck is pushed to one side for the moment. The red deck is turned face down, & shuffled BY THE SPECTATOR, & cut at some point BY THE SPECTATOR. The spectator remembers the card cut to, & places it face down on the table, & covers it with his hand. You now show a small "Computa' Card" you lay this on top of the blue deck still in it's case. You ask the spectator to name only the VALUE of the card, you then click a few buttons on the "Computa' Card" & click the "Send" button. You then take the blue pack out of it's case, & count down to the same number of cards as the value given, so if the spectator gives you an eight, then you count down to the eighth card. Ask the spectator to turn over his card, you then turn over the eighth card & IT MATCHES!!!!

A Card is selected by a spectator (can be a totally FREE choice!) from a red backed Bicycle deck. The card is signed RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE by the spectator. The magician signs across the back. The card is then sandwiched between two BLUE BACKED Jacks (The "Security Guards") The magician explains that he is going to make the spectators signed card escape from the "Security Guards" & end up back in the pack on the table! but to do this he will need to cover the cards with a handkerchief, because the escape can only be done under the cover of darkness! The magician then apparently removes from under the hanky "Invisibly" the signed card, makes a throwing gesture with it towards the pack on the table, "The signed card is now back in the pack on the table!" claims the magician who continues: "The most difficult part of the trick however is to get the signed card back between the two security guards again before they loose their jobs!". The magician makes another throwing gesture towards the two Jacks. He then spreads the cards to show that indeed the signed selection has returned! (Audience are unimpressed at this point!) "I'm really going to do it this time" claims the magician, who once again makes a throwing gesture towards the cards on the table, sure enough when he spreads the two Jacks, THE SIGNED CARD HAS VANISHED! "The card may be gone, but NOT FORGOTTEN" claims the magician, as he (or a spectator!) spreads the pack on the table, in the middle of the pack, is the SPECTATORS FREELY CHOSEN SIGNED CARD!!

Two packs of cards are shown, one being a red pack & the other blue. Two pens are also shown, again one is red & the other is blue.

First of all a spectator is chosen, & asked to select a RED PEN or a BLUE PEN, you explain in advance that in a moment they are going to choose a card from either a red backed pack of cards, OR a blue backed pack of cards, if they choose a RED pen, then they will select a card from the RED pack, IF on the other hand they choose a BLUE pen, then they will select a card from the BLUE pack, The choice of pen is a COMPLETELY FREE CHOICE, no forces are involved at all!

Lets say the spectator chooses the blue pen. The blue pack is shown, both faces & backs are seen, all the cards are different. The cards are spread face up, & the spectator FREELY chooses a card. The chosen face up card is signed by the spectator with the BLUE pen, right across the card if he so wishes! This card is then torn into four pieces, & placed on top of the box from where it came. The magician who is left with the red pack & the red pen, now opens up the red pack & shows the backs & faces, all the cards are different just like the blue pack. The duplicate of the chosen card is removed from the RED pack & signed by the magician with the RED pen, this card is also torn up into four pieces, the pieces being placed on top of the red box.

All of the torn card pieces are gathered & mixed up FACE UP. The cards are then turned face down, & the four pieces of the spectator's blue card are gathered up & given to the spectator, & the magician retains his red pieces.

You then have a race with the spectator as to who can assemble their four pieces of card back again into a complete card the quickest! "Who ever gets their signature card back together again the quickest wins £100!" states the magician. "Ready Steady GO!" The pieces are then assembled but the magician DELIBERATELY goes very slow with putting his card pieces together. It looks like the spectator has WON! but when he turns his card over he sees the MAGICIANS SIGNATURE! so he loses! the magician wins! The spectator will of course be looking at their BLUE backed card that they signed ACROSS THE FACE with a BLUE PEN, HOWEVER, it now shows the magicians signature written in RED across their blue backed card! When the magicians card is turned over, it is seen to have the spectator's signature written in BLUE across his red backed card! The signatures have switched! Everything is clean at the end, the spectator can even keep the cards!

After someone freely names a playing card, the deck is mixed so that some cards are face up & some are face down. The deck is clearly seen to be in a mixed state. With no moves, the deck is spread to show that all the cards have magically righted themselves with ONE exception. THE SPECTATORS FREELY CHOSEN CARD!! For the mind blowing finale their FREELY selected card is shown to have a completely different coloured back to the rest of the deck!!!

Remember there is no sleight of hand or awkward moves or handling whatsoever!

As you tell an amusing story about four girls on the beach, represented by the four queens in the wallet, one of the queens is chosen by a spectator. Upon removing the four cards from the wallet, it is seen that that the CHOSEN QUEEN is found to be the ONLY FACE UP CARD!! also when you show it's back, it is seen to have a completely DIFFERENT colour back to the others! The real punch comes however when you turn over the other three cards "You could have chosen this, or this one, or maybe this one" you say, as you turn the cards over,THEY ARE ALL SEEN TO BE PICTURES OF TOPLESS BEAUTY'S!! (The other three girls on the beach!!) How unlucky, the chosen card is the only regular card amongst the four!!
