A great routine by Ian Adair, involving five envelopes, one of which contains a genuine five pound note. The envelopes are mixed, & four of the envelopes are selected by four spectators spelling the word "M O N E Y" & moving one envelope from the top to the bottom for every letter of the word, on the last letter a spectator receives that envelope. This is repeated four times until only one envelope remains which will be the magicians. The spectators open their envelopes & they all WIN a £5 note, but each is a GIANT one! Display a wooden tray that holds a shot glass, a drinking glass, and six different colored golf balls on it.
The small shot glass is placed in the center of the tray.

The six golf balls are mixed & moved on top of the tray in different positions.
The large glass is put over top of the shot glass, securing the shot glass inside a chamber.

Have the spectator select one of the six colored golf balls, and call out the color.
Pick up the tray and cover it with the foulard, and hand the spectator the entire covered tray.

Ask them to concentrate on their colored golf ball, you remove the foulard covering the tray.
Their selected golf ball is now INSIDE the shot glass which is covered by the larger glass!

A Beautiful Hand Turned Wooden Cup is seen upside down on the Table. The Magician explains that underneath there is a prediction. You tell the children that you have drawn them a special Christmas picture, displaying a solid white silk handkerchief. You claim that it's a picture of a snowstorm! Sensing the skepticism from the crowd, you get the children to draw you a Christmas tree in the air as the handkerchief is dropped into a bag. When you remove the silk from the bag it now has the outline of a tree printed on it-but what a pity, there's no color! Different colors collected from the children's clothing then magically appear on the tree-but what a pity, there aren't any decorations! The silk is again dropped in the bag and you start plucking little red lights out of the air, dropping them into the bag as well. Performer is holding a paper bag (which can be shown empty) in one hand and an empty hand. Performer reaches into the air and plucks out a red light, then places the light in the brown paper bag, as the light is placed in the paper bag,the light can be seen dropping into the bag.

The light will be seen falling into the bag and then can be seen settling to the bottom of the bag. This is repeated nine more times for a total of 10 lights. all are seen floating in the bottom of the bag. On the command of the performer the lights will be blown out with a puff of breath!

An inverted "U" shaped two wall red panel (houlette) with a hole in the center is shown on the stand.

A ribbon is threaded through the hole, & drapes either side. An inverted single "U" shaped yellow plate with a hole in the center is introduced. The yellow plate is dropped inside the panel through the slit provided at the top, this pushes the ribbon to the bottom. The hole of the plate matches with the hole of the yellow panel.The ends of the ribbon are pulled to the top from either side, because the yellow plate is on top of the ribbon the plate will appear over the top edge of the houlette, the ribbon is underneath, & you can see the empty hole at the top, the ends of the ribbon are released, the plate drops down, now when withdrawn the ribbon is found threaded into the hole of the yellow plate!!! This was the best trick I ever bought from REPRO! it was the mainstay of my act for over 30 years, I'd burn the spectator's money at the beginning of the act, send him back to his seat without it, then I performed a lot of magic to the "Value" of the money that was "Accidently burned" I'd even get the spectator to confirm the value of each trick as I performed it, until we got to the actual value of the borrowed note!!

The act then climaxed with the reproduction of the same note from a sealed envelope, from within my wallet, as the money was passed back to the spectator,to conclude my performance.

One day soon I hope to produce a Dvd of my full routine as performed in front of a live (paying!) audience, I'll keep you posted!

A Transposition Vanish Extreme
Two bright coloured covers are seen on the magicians table.
One is raised revealing a jar of peanut butter,The other cover is raised revealing a jar of jelly. Both covers are replaced.
With some magic words the magician claims the jelly and peanut butter have changed places, then return!
You repeat this again.You prove your claim,by raising both covers to prove that both are in opposite places.
You can repeat the switch as many times as desired. Replace both covers, and both the peanut butter and jelly disappear.
Someone in the audience is asked to reach inside a paper bag that previously held two slices of bread.
The bread is removed now with peanut butter and jelly between the two slices. The bag is shown empty!

A Card is MENTALLY selected by a spectator. A card case is shown & a pack of Bicycle Cards are removed from it. "Would you be surprised if the card on the TOP of the pack is your freely selected card?" the magician asks. The freestyle book test is a powerful book test that you can make at home... with practically any book.

Imagine... you display a book that you say you've had for a long time and have even written and doodled inside of it... throughout the book there are notations of cards, serial numbers, dates, locations, names, drawing, highlighting...

A spectator stops at any page and holds onto the book...you begin to call out various words from the book, numbers, doodles, colors, names and all sorts of information.

You've also written in playing cards throughout the book. you have the spectator call out their favorite card and then have them find it in the book...without touching the book you begin to call out information from the pages they are looking at... including cards that are inscribed next to their card!
