Imagine for a moment that you have 1 to 5 people in front of you; you tell them you want to conduct an experiment into the subconscious and you conduct several tests to prove your powers.

This is all done under test conditions, and the results are awesome!

To begin with a bag is shown and the contents tipped out onto the table for everyone to examine. 4 different coloured stones are shown and one black. They are placed into the bag and shaken to mix them up.
You then instruct the spectator to take one stone and keep their hand closed so no one sees the stone! This is repeated with the other spectators until the bag is empty and placed to one side.
You then divine who does not have the black stone without looking, peeking or asking any questions! All it takes is a glance into their minds eye and you correctly eliminate the coloured stones. In fact the spectators do not have any idea which stone they hold, as they have not seen the colour themselves! You do this till you are left with two spectators, you then go on to correctly divine the location of the black stone and of course who holds the coloured stone.
Or of course vice versa, this alone is a jaw dropping moment! But wait there is more!

The spectator with the black stone is invited to conduct another experiment. You have them place the black stone and a coloured stone into the bag and shake the stones about to mix them (YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE BAG AT ALL DURING THIS PROCESS). They are then asked to take a stone in each hand but not to look at them just place their hands outstretched and of course keep them closed! You then take the spectators hands in yours and again after a little talk of the sub conscious being an extremely powerful entity you correctly divine the hand, which holds the black and the coloured stone. This can be instantly repeated with a second person with no reset at all!

Don’t have 5 people to perform to? It’s not a problem at all you can perform this trick for 1 or 100 people. The routine is simply designed to play for 1 - 5 or even more people, plus you can jazz the routine and take a bit from here and from there! It is a sure fire winner... Basic Effect:

Magician removes a pack of cards from the box, & places them face down on the table, a spectator is asked to name any card out of 52 (FREE CHOICE, ABSOLUTELY NO FORCE AT ALL)they can change their mind as often as they wish. You pick up the deck, explaining that the cards are secretly "Marked" on the backs, so because of that, you can locate any card. Magician spreads the cards, & explains that "Your card is under that one" as you point to one card, you then cut the deck at that point, bringing the cut to card to the top of the face down deck, you then lift the top face down card from the the deck, & one card below it is seen to be FACE UP, it is the FREELY selected card, all the other cards are seen to be FACE DOWN!! The magician states "I'm so pleased you selected that particular card, because if you hadn't,I'm not sure what I would have done...................... The cards are turned over, & all the faces are seen to be BLANK!!! The only card in the deck is the spectator's FREELY chosen card!!

Only one deck of cards is used, these are on the table BEFORE the selection, there are 52 cards to the pack (no more & no less) resets with a couple of cuts. No sticky cards are used. Total FREE CHOICE of card. EASY TO DO!!

Trick One:

A pack of cards are shown & seen to be mixed. The spectator cuts off a quantity of cards. Not knowing exactly the amount, the magician "weighs" the spectators squared up packet in his hands & tries to guess how many cards there are. The magician then allows himself a quantity of cards from the remaining deck, & also allows the spectator to add some more cards to his pile.

The magician then explains that the pack is a full pack PLUS one extra duplicate card, & that both him & the spectator are going to play "Blind Snap" with the cards FACE DOWN to try & find the duplicated card.

The magician deals a card, next to this the spectator deals a card from his packet into a separate pile, then the magician deals another card onto his pile & the spectator deals onto theirs, this continues, & then suddenly just after the spectator deals, the next card the magician deals is seen to have the word "SNAP" printed on the back of his dealt card. The last card the spectator layed is turned over & seen to be a Ten Of Spades (or whatever) & when the magicians "Snap card" is turned over, it also is seen to be the Ten Of spades!!! everything is fully examinable at the end.

Trick two:

we are keeping as a surprise! although a close up trick this could also be done on stage with Jumbo Cards!!

For this trick the magician uses a transparent perspex board, five E. S. P. cards with blue back and five E. S. P. cards with red back. Every blue backed card has its matching red backed card. You will have the same E. S. P. symbols on the faces of these cards. The magician slips the blue cards into their slots on the board in an order only he knows. The spectator chooses one by one, in which matching slot the red cards should go, but he only sees the back of the cards. When the magician turns the board around, the blue back and red back cards are in the same order (top to bottom). You can show the trick twice and the order of the cards won't be the same! The cards are not specially prepared. AMAZING!

Mike Danata purchased the rights to the original 6&9 card trick a few years ago from Mystico in Sweden. The Trick had been on hold for release by us since then, due to the pressure of business & simple "Lack Of Time", just not enough hours in the day. Recently Mike Danata looked again at the original trick, played around with it, & completely restructured the handling, so all the cards faces & backs were seen again at the end & were seen to be what they SHOULD be, (& NOT what they shouldn't!)You could not do this in the original routine, you had to put the cards away "Quickly" at the end, & you couldn't show them again.) A young man called Russ Andrews saw my demo that I've just referred to, & worked out the trick plus my handling, he made some more refinements & additions & very kindly passed them on to me for inclusion in this new & updated version of the trick.

The numbers as you can see are only on ONE CARD now, in this version (The six that changes to a nine), by eliminating the other numbers it allows for a stunning climax where ALL the cards backs will apparently change colour at the end!!!

A bunch of flowers magically appear in your empty hands, or from a clear balloon, or in many other ways.
Spring flowers are a useful magical accessory and come in different varieties such as paper, cloth and plastic, mylar etc.

The magician displays a match box and holds it on the ends of his fingertips. On command the drawer of the match box RISES UP!
With a few magic gestures it slowly sinks back into the box.
This can be repeated as often as you like.

Six stainless steel cups, which are numbered (by dice) from one to six, are shown on a beautiful Oak hand stained platform. In each cup, an amount of cash is placed. This can be a $100 bill, and five smaller bills or coins.

Five spectators are picked from the audience. One by one they are asked to roll a die. They are told that whatever number they roll, they will get what is under that cup. For example: If a two is thrown on the die, the number two cup is lifted up and they get that prize. It is further explained that you will get the last cup.

Five cards are removed from a small leather wallet. It is seen that four of the cards have red faces & one card has a black face. The cards are counted & turned face down one at a time, there are definitely five cards. The black card mysteriosly vanishes & when the cards are counted again there are now only FOUR! the black card mysteriosly reappears back in the wallet!! (or anywhere else you'd like it to appear!).

The five cards at the start could come from the top of a regular pack, instead of the wallet. You could show that the wallet at the start contains a face down BLANK face card. The odd card vanishes, & when you go back to the wallet, it is seen that the blank faced card has now CHANGED into the vanished card!!!

Credit to Stewart James for this great pocket perplexer! A trick you can work anytime, anywhere, and the more you do it the more mystifying it becomes!

You simply tie a knot in the cord around a small plastic tube. Thread one end of the cord through the tube and slip the knot off. The question is WHERE IS THE KNOT?

The answer is a BIG SURPRISE and provided a really novel close-up effect. Each time the finale is different.

First the knot is in the tube, then it’s in your hand and then it VANISHES altogether! No skill or sleights! It’ll intrigue you too, even as you present it! Montezooma will leave your spectators puzzling! A very clever pocket trick to carry with you at any time.

You receive a black plastic tube together with a piece of red cord and detailed instructions.

Borrow a five pound note or whatever from a spectator; have them sign it and place it in an envelope.
Now Pull the Hot Stuff Lighter from your pocket and hand it to the spectator.

Spectator is shown six cards with a picture of a lovely lady on each. Talk about your Queens of hearts!
You now tell the spectator that you know which beauty he will select.
The spectator selects (no force) one of the ladies and you place her to the table (no switch).

You now show the backs of the remaining five cards, they are alike.
When the selected card is turned over it has a back totally different from the other five cards!

The ladies on the cards are wearing bathing suits (no nudes) thus the trick can be performed for different types of people.

Hopping Dominoes is a new version of the famous coin trick called “Hopping Half”, made with two domino chips. It’s a continuous vanish and re-appearance of the dominoes with an astonishing climax. A powerful effect, ideal for parlor, close-up or restaurant magic. Very visual, and very easy to do!

Includes two gimmicked domino chips and instructions.

A wooden framed mirror is removed from a cloth bag and the solid mirror is taken out of the frame and can be thoroughly examined . The mirror is replaced in the frame and then placed back into the bag. A solid knitting needle is tapped on the mirror several times in different places. Then suddenly the needle penetrates the mirror as if it has melted right through it! After stabbing through it several times, the needle is removed. At this point the performer bends the mirror in half inside the sack! The Mirror is restored to it's flat state inside the bag and is pierced through several more times with the needle! The mirror upon finally being removed is shown to be intact!

These cards are built with the best material and the marking system is clearly visible to the performer but completely invisible to the audience.

What the audience sees:

1. You show two REGULAR AND UNPREPARED rubber bands, each held between a thumb and finger. The bands and your fingers make rings. You show that there is no way to link these rings.You rub the bands against each other, and make them VISUALLY penetrate each other. This is a compelling illusion, with exactly the same visual as crazy man's handcuffs- except the bands are going IN!

2. You show that now there is no way to get out. Then, the bands visually penetrate out- ONE STRAND AT A TIME! When they are half way through, the bands can be pulled to show that the bands are REALLY HALF-WAY THROUGH! Then, the last strand pulls on the other rubber band and VISUALLY POPS THROUGH!!!

There are more routines with cards, coins, newspaper, currency notes etc. All visual magic that requires no special preparation or skill beyond the capabilities of most average magicians. The routines are of course far above average.

The performer pours out a cup of coffee. He apparently tosses this at the audience, but instead of scalding coffee, glitter confetti pours out of the cup.
You could of course vary the effect, pour in milk, and have tiny candy pour out, and so on.
The original method for this effect involved a partition cup with a hole, and a hallow saucer. This has now been modified to work on the Foo Can principal, so that all the necessary gimmicking is inside the cup.

The magician displays a wallet and removes three playing cards from inside, two black cards and one red. He asks a spectator to take out the red card, which then magically changes into a black card! The magician now tells the spectators that the red card must have jumped back into the wallet, which has been lying on the table the entire time. He opens the wallet and removes an entire deck of blue cards! Impressive, but it's not the missing card, so the magician opens the wallet again and removes a complete deck of blue cards! Still not the red card that he's looking for, the magician tries a third time and removes another deck from the wallet, and this time they're red cards. The magician then removes the missing card from the deck!
